What We Don't Do

We do not diagnose. Your cancer doctor should be the only one to diagnose and prescribe treatment. No service can nor should supersede what is done in the physician’s office. However, we have a vital role to play and will augment your cancer-fighting team, not replace them.

We do not prescribe. Your cancer doctor is the best medical professional suited to prescribe your medical treatments. If needed, we will provide suggestions and/or possible alternatives for you to discuss with your doctor.

We do not make decisions. You and your family are the only ones qualified to make these important and life-saving decisions.

We are not a counseling service.  Our expertise is providing counsel regarding cancer care. We do not provide emotional or psychological counseling. However, as a part of our services, we will direct you to resources that provide these services.

We do not navigate emergency situations.  Please call your doctor or 911.

At this time, we do not navigate for pediatric cancer patients.

"My nurse consultant provided me with confidence to beat my disease. She was there for me throughout my journey to answer questions and help me ask the right questions to my doctors. She was the best information source and explained everything in very clear layman's language. The service is invaluable. I cannot express in words what NavigateCancer has meant to me and my family."
